MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Tuesday was a travel day for Appalachian State University football, as the Mountaineers made the short journey to Montgomery, Ala. for Saturday’s Raycom Media Camellia Bowl versus Ohio (5:30 p.m. ET – ESPN).
The Mountaineers lifted weights on Tuesday morning and ate lunch as a team before busing to Hickory Regional Airport for the hour-long flight to Montgomery.
Once in Montgomery, Appalachian State was greeted on the airport tarmac by Raycom Media Camellia Bowl executive director Johnny Williams and members of his staff before being cheered by a contingent of local fans upon its arrival to the team hotel.
