BOONE, N.C. - App State women's soccer concluded the preseason with a 1-1 draw against ETSU on Friday afternoon at Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex.
Appalachian will open the regular season next Friday against Radford at 7 p.m.
The Mountaineers and Bucs played three, 30-minute periods. ETSU scored in the 29th minute of the first frame to give the visitors
a 1-0 lead.
App stayed on the attack, as it capitalized on one of its five shots on goal in the 37th minute of the second period when Sunna Thorbjornsdottir found Tess Cairney in the box to knot things up, 1-1.
