BOONE, N.C. — Former Appalachian State coach Mack Brown headlined a 13-man class that has been selected for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.
The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame announced the class Monday morning in Atlanta in conjunction with the CFP National Championship.
Brown joins former App State head coach Jerry Moore (2014) and linebacker Dexter Coakley (2011) as Mountaineers inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. The other members of the 2018 class are Frank Beamer, Ed Reed, Calvin Johnson, Charles Woodson, Kerry Collins, Matt Stinchcomb, Aaron Taylor, Trevor Cobb, Dave Dickenson, Dana Howard, Paul Palmer and Matt Tjeerdsma.
