NEW ORLEANS, La. - App State senior Jada Branch earned first team All-Sun Belt honors for her performance at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships, the league announced Wednesday.
Branch garnered gold in the women's triple jump at the championship meet, recording a personal best leap of 12.85m (42' 2"). Her leap moved her to third in the App State all-time list, just below Peighton Simmons' leap of 13.28m (43' 7") and Ronda White's school record of 13.46m (44' 2").
The Stafford, Va. native was also part of the 4x400-meter relay team that set a new App State program record with a time of 3:43.
