Balanced Attack Leads Volleyball Past Davidson

BOONE, N.C. -- Four players recorded at least eight kills as Appalachian State volleyball improved to a perfect 4-0 on the season with a 25-23, 25-19, 25-19 victory over Davidson on the first day of the Appalachian Invitational.

The Mountaineers have now posted four straight 3-0 victories for the first time since 2014. App State also has won its first four contests to open a season since the 2014 campaign. It also marks the first time in program history that Appalachian State has opened with the season with four straight sweeps.
