BOONE, N.C. — Darrynton Evans is back with the Chicago Bears, and he returned to the end zone on Sunday Night Football.
Evans hurdled his way over the goal line to finish off an 11-yard touchdown run in the Bears' nationally televised road loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. A fourth-year NFL back, it was the first rushing touchdown in a regular season game for Evans and his second overall touchdown — he caught a touchdown pass as a Tennessee Titans rookie in 2020.
Evans gained 18 yards on four rushes and caught three passes for 22 yards in his third game this season with the Bears.
