BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University men’s tennis (11-4) won its fifth-straight match Tuesday afternoon with a 6-1 victory over Wofford (7-9) at Varsity Courts.
The five-consecutive wins is the first time the Apps have won five straight since the 2011-12 season, while surpassing last season’s win total of 10 victories. It’s also the Mountaineers’ first home win of the season and was the first home match since Jan. 31 against UNC Asheville.
“This was a great win to capture at home in front of our fans and continue our solid play late in the season,” said head coach Bob Lake.
