CHARLESTON, S.C. — Appalachian State University men’s tennis won its fourth-straight match as it dominated The Citadel, 7-0, at Earle Tennis Center on Saturday.
“This whole season we’ve been playing really well at the doubles, and our singles play today matched that intensity,” head coach Bob Lake said. “I’m really proud of the wins we’ve gotten on the road and look forward to tomorrow.”
The Mountaineers (6-3) came out of the gate hot, but, more importantly, were able to finish strong, only dropping three total sets all day to the Bulldogs (7-10).
