Apps Seventh After Two Rounds at Bash at the Beach

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Appalachian State is seventh in a tight field after two rounds at the 2017 Bash at the Beach, which began Monday at the Surf and Golf Club. Players played through rain and cold conditions to be able to finish all 54 holes on Tuesday.

The Mountaineers (+25) put together a pair of consistent rounds (295-298) and trail Western Illinois (+24) by one stroke for sixth. South Carolina Beaufort (+12) leads both Jacksonville State and Oakland (+15) by three for the overall lead. George Washington (+18) and High Point (+20) round out the top five.
