BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University men’s soccer will look to finish the 2016 regular season strong as it heads to in-state opponent No. 8 UNC Charlotte for a midweek contest on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at Transamerica Field.
The Mountaineers (5-7-3, 1-2-1 Sun Belt) only have two games remain before postseason play, including one final conference game this weekend at longtime rival Georgia Southern. After dropping two games the week prior, the Black and Gold bounced back to get on the winning track to defeat Campbell, 2-1 on Oct. 25.
As Appalachian continues to battle for Sun Belt position, seniors Stephen Chapman and Jordan Melia continue to lead the team on the offensive charge.
