WALLACE, N.C. – Appalachian State opens play at the River Landing Classic on Thursday morning. The 54-hole event begins on Thursday morning as players will play 36 holes on the opening day. Friday’s final round is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.
App won a head-to-head event with Dayton last weekend in Hilton Head. Savannah Wood’s hole-in-one on Saturday and Emily Stinson’s 73 (+1) on Sunday were the highlights of the weekend at Berkeley Hall. The Mountaineers face a different test this week against a full field and App State Head Coach Heather Brown wants to see her team ready for the challenge of a complete tournament.
