BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State's football program wrapped up its spring practice schedule with another sun-splashed appearance in Kidd Brewer Stadium and a lengthy scrimmage that eclipsed triple-digit snaps.
A week after totaling 59 plays in 11-on-11 work that was often controlled by the Mountaineers' highly regarded defense, the offense had more bright spots Saturday during a scrimmage that lasted 102 plays. With spring practice ending, the focus shifts to offseason weight training.
"There's a lot of good film we can coach off of as we head into the offseason," Appalachian State head coach Scott Satterfield said.
