NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference, in conjunction with ESPN, announced that the Thursday, January 23 men's basketball matchup between App State and Arkansas State will be broadcast on ESPN2 with a 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT tipoff at First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro, Ark.
The contest is the first of four wildcard appearances for the Sun Belt on the ESPN Family of Networks during the 2025 league season. The remaining wildcard appearances will take place on February 5, February 15 and February 28 with matchups to be determined.
Last year, the Mountaineers appeared on ESPN's linear stations three separate times, twice at home against Auburn and James Madison and once on the road against Marshall.
