BOONE, N.C. – App State Tennis hosts South Alabama for its first home SBC match of the season.

The Mountaineers recently secured a road victory over James Madison in Harrisonburg, Va. App State earned the doubles point, with Savannah Dada-Mascoll and Alexi Cleveland clinching it with a 6-4 win from the No. 3 spot.
With a one-point lead heading into singles play, Dada-Mascoll and Cleveland picked up singles victories to put the Mountaineers in a strong position. Despite losses from Olwyn Ryan-Bovey and Ruby Broadbent, Naledi Manyube fought through a three-set battle to secure the match, giving the Mountaineers their first SBC win of the season.
