BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State Athletics continues to raise the standard in the classroom after fall grades were released. Mountaineer student-athletes posted a 3.10 semester GPA for the fall for a 3.14 cumulative GPA.
This past semester is now the 13th consecutive semester with a GPA above 3.0 for the Mountaineers, allowing a new record cumulative GPA. 13 teams logged a semester GPA above 3.0 while 14 teams boast a cumulative GPA above 3.0. All women's teams claim a cumulative GPA above 3.0 as well.
