BOONE, N.C. – A shorthanded, but motivated and resilient App State squad overcame a slow start to dominate the Campbell Camels for the last three quarters in a 52-21 win Saturday at Kidd Brewer Stadium.
Junior running back Daetrich Harrington, who eclipsed the century mark in the first half, led the Mountaineers' persistent ground attack with a career-high 211 yards and four touchdowns.
App State bounced back from last week's road loss at Marshall in a big way to move to 2-1 on the season. The Mountaineers have now won 12 of their last 13 games after a loss dating back to 2015.
