BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University softball is slated for a conference weekend series with ULM April 8-9 at the ULM Softball Complex in Monroe, La. Saturday’s doubleheader will start at 2 p.m., and the series finale will kick off on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Appalachian State (12-21, 0-9) is currently on a nine-game skid dropping three games to South Alabama in a weekend conference series in Boone. Katie Mathewson, Jenny Dodd and Ally Walters crashed out home runs over the weekend, and Walters turned in the best performance at the plate averaging .
