BOONE, N.C. – A new chapter will begin this fall for Appalachian State University men's golf.
Director of Athletics Doug Gillin announced Friday that Danny Forshey is the next head coach of the App State men's golf team.
Forshey, who has served as director of intercollegiate golf at Bethune-Cookman University since 2017, led the men's and women's golf teams to a combined 16 tournament victories in two seasons.
"Danny has shown throughout his playing and coaching career the ability to compete at a high level and develop programs," Gillin said. "We are excited to welcome Danny, Lindsey, Hailey and Ryan to the App State family.
