GREENSBORO, N.C. – App State suffered its second loss of the baseball season Sunday, falling 11-3 to North Carolina A&T at World War Memorial Stadium.
The Mountaineers (5-2) surrendered six runs in the bottom of the first inning, which ended up being enough for the Aggies (2-5) to secure the victory in their first home game of the year.
App State won two games against A&T on Saturday in the first of four straight games between the in-state foes. The teams will square off again in Boone on Tuesday, with first pitch scheduled for 5 p.
