App State Dominates College of Charleston in 13-0 Win

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Caleb Marks tossed a complete game shutout and App State racked up a season-high 21 hits as Saturday's outcome was never in doubt in a 13-0 win against the College of Charleston.

In just his fourth App State start, Marks (1-0) turned in the first complete game shutout by a Mountaineer since Tyler Tuthill's memorable 2019 outing vs. UT Arlington. A senior transfer by way of Division II Trevecca Nazarene, Marks allowed just four hits and one walk in nine stellar innings against a team that won 41 games last season.
