BOONE, N.C. – Fresh off leading App State Tennis to its first Sun Belt Tournament championship match and an NIT appearance, head coach Hannah Fetters has earned a contract extension that runs through the 2026-27 season, Director of Athletics Doug Gillin announced Tuesday. The extension was approved by Interim Chancellor Heather Norris and the Appalachian State University Board of Trustees.
"We are excited about the future of App State Tennis under Hannah's direction," Gillin said. "It was fun watching her lead the team to the Sun Belt tournament championship match for the first time in program history in her first season.
