In search of its second-straight Sun Belt Conference series victory, Appalachian State University baseball travels to the Atlanta-metro area this weekend for a three-game set versus Georgia State. Game times are slated for 6 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday at the GSU Baseball Complex in Decatur, Ga.
Last weekend, Appalachian State (10-27, 5-13 Sun Belt) took 2-of-3 games from No. 23 South Alabama, handing the nationally ranked Jaguars their first Sun Belt losses of the season. The series win was Appalachian’s second in its last three conference sets. The Mountaineers also took 2-of-3 games from third-place Little Rock on April 1-3.
