HUNTINGTON, W.VA. - Appalachian State University women’s track and field finished day two of the Thundering Herd Invitation on Saturday night in Huntington, W.Va. won her second race of the season and broke two records.
On the track, Darlene Girardeau and LaBria King had two great showings in the short sprints. Girardeau produced a season’s best of 7.64 in the 60 meters to take fifth place, and King darted across the finish line in 7.68 to grab sixth. In the 200 meters, King clocked a collegiate personal-best of 25.
