Investigators are combing a Hollywood street for any surveillance cameras that might have captured the killing of a woman by a man who walked up to her and shot her with a shotgun, police said Monday.
The woman was shot shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday while walking with another man on McCadden Place toward Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles police said.
The gunman approached them on foot from behind and shot the woman in the head, said Sgt. Robert Payan with the LAPD’s Hollywood station. He then got in a black sedan and fled on McCadden, heading north.
