Team USA took on Germany today in the World Junior Hockey Championships. The Ducks first round pick from 2019, Trevor Zegras, was a large reason the US defeated Germany 6-3.
Zegras had four assists, all of which were primary, in a fourth line role that only saw him receive 10:04 minutes of ice time (he had only played 4:44 heading into the third period and already had tallied his 4 assists). This was a statement game for Zegras that the USA head coach Scott Sandelin needs to play him more.
