When you consider how long the latest incarnation of the San Diego Gulls have been around, you might be surprised at how quickly they have managed to develop rivalries among their new Pacific Division siblings. It makes sense that the Ontario Reign would be a natural and ready-made “love/hate” relationship, but the Stockton Heat have emerged as another of those match ups that the Gulls seem to enjoy intense affairs with. This most recent 3 game match-up accentuated that.
The first of the three games saw the Gulls go down by two goals early. Rookie Spencer Foo had his first career AHL goal on the power play and added a second on a shorthanded breakaway steal from former Ducks property Joseph Cramarossa.
