At least one person was killed and six others were injured Friday in Boyle Heights when five vehicles were involved in a crash on the 60 Freeway, closing all westbound lanes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
LAFD spokesman Shawn Lenske said the crash occurred about 5 p.m. near the Lorena Street exit.
CHP Officer Alex Rubio said one of the vehicles was a semi-truck.
He said the person killed was a woman in her 30s. Her name, as well as ages, genders and conditions of the other victims were not immediately available.
Two lanes of the freeway have been reopened.
