Ryan Garbutt comes to Ducks in trade with Blackhawks

Ducks fans won't need a long-and-winding introduction to the team's newest player: forward Ryan Garbutt.

They can just go back and watch video clips of the Ducks' first-round playoff series against the Dallas Stars in 2014. For starters, Garbutt was ejected in Game 5 for spearing Anaheim's Corey Perry.

The former antagonist was added on Thursday morning to give back the Ducks some snarl and edginess. Ducks General Manager Bob Murray acquired Garbutt from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for forward Jiri Sekac.

It was Murray's second trade in less than a week as the Ducks seem to be shifting back to their old physical identity.
