Report: Robert Griffin III could be back in time for next exhibition game

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III could be ready to play in the Redskins' Aug. 29 exhibition game against the Baltimore Ravens, according to Mike Jones of the Washington Post.

The report comes a day after Griffin suffered a concussion on the second of back-to-back sacks during the second quarter of the team's 21-17 victory over Detroit.

Jones reports that the concussion isn't considered severe.

Griffin was having a tough outing even before the injury. He completed two of five passes for eight yards and was sacked three times for a loss of 17 yards while playing four series.
