The Ducks held practice at Agganis Arena (Boston University) earlier today as they prepare for tomorrow’s game against the Boston Bruins. On the ice with the team was defenseman Simon Despres (pictured above), who returned from his long-term injury conditioning loan with the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League. Despres had a goal and an assist with six penalty minutes in four games with the Gulls. His status for tomorrow’s game, however, remains uncertain.
Frederik Andersen could get the start tomorrow night, as hinted by Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau. Andersen last appeared in a game 10 days ago, a 22-save performance in Anaheim's 4-2 victory over the Dallas Stars at Honda Center.
