A luxury pool at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas reopened Sunday, less than 24 hours after a mysterious fire scorched trees and cabanas on the pool deck.
The Bamboo Pool reopened with full service at 10 a.m. after fire officials walled off the portion that had been engulfed in flames Saturday afternoon, according to a written statement from Cosmopolitan officials.
Guest rooms on the 14th floor of the West End Tower remained closed, according to the statement.
One person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and a second was treated at the scene.
