People who make "repetitious, personal, impertinent or profane remarks" at Police Commission meetings could be kicked out of the weekly public sessions, according to proposed rules the board will consider Tuesday.
The recommendations come after a series of meetings that have been disrupted by activists, including those affiliated with Black Lives Matter who have protested recent police shootings.
The proposal quickly drew fire from activists who regularly attend the meetings, who scheduled a news conference before Tuesday's session begins.
