The Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League has named right wing Corey Perry and goaltender John Gibson to the 2016 NHL All-Star Game, taking place in Nashville, TN on Jan. 31. Perry will make his fourth career All-Star appearance following his All-Star debut in 2008 in Atlanta, 2011 in Carolina and 2012 in Ottawa. At age 22, Gibson is the second-youngest U.S.-born goaltender set to play in the All-Star Game following Buffalo’s Tom Barrasso (19 in February 1985). He is also the youngest NHL goaltender of any nationality appearing at the All-Star Game since Montreal’s Carey Price (21 in January 2009).
