Over at the For Hockey Fans main page, I wrote about why General Manager Pat Verbeek should be involved in the trade rumors surrounding some useful players throughout the league, specifically Vancouver’s Connor Garland and Ottawa’s Mathieu Joseph. At first glance, they both seem like poor fits given their age, contract status, and overall production over the last few years, but the truth is they would give a Ducks team that is hoping to begin its ascent some valuable depth that they simply do not have right now. Head over there and give it a read if you’d be so kind.
