Nicki Minaj has ended her perceived Twitter spat with Taylor Swift by speaking over the phone, Minaj said Friday during an appearance on "Good Morning America."
The PinkPrint rapper, whose kerfuffle with Swift over the MTV Video Music Award nominations dominated social media and entertainment news this week, elaborated on her remarks and agreed that the original spirit of her rant got lost in the shuffle.
The "Barber Shop 3" actress, 32, believed her viral, jungle-themed music video for "Anaconda" was snubbed and the oversight was part of the exclusionary practices of the music industry that she insisted perpetually overlooks contributions by black female artists.
