Actress Melissa McCarthy, one of members of the new, female-lead 'busting ensemble tweeted out an image of the many women who make up the cast and crew of this production. Fingers crossed this will end of long river of vitriol and slime the cast and crew have had to swim against.
The new paranormal fighting squad stars Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and McCarthy in the title roles. Unfortunately this production has been plagued with online outrage purely due to the fact that this team of new "Ghostbusters" is made up entirely of female actors.
