Fresh off a huge victory over the white-hot Pacific Division leading Bakersfield Condors, the San Diego Gulls picked up another valuable two points in Manitoba yesterday to stay in playoff position in the suddenly very tight race for the Calder Cup.
The Gulls have not enjoyed the same consistent success that saw them win 8 of 11 games in January and 7 of 11 in February largely due to an almost complete roster reshuffle that took place at the trade deadline - where Troy Terry and Max Jones were called up out of necessity, followed by Jacob Larsson soon after.
