A Los Angeles firefighter, a nurse and another employee at a hospital in Boyle Heights were stabbed by a patient Tuesday night, an LAFD official said.
The LAFD firefighter was accompanying a patient for medical care at White Memorial Hospital's emergency room about 9:30 p.m. when another patient pulled a knife from his sock and attacked the firefighter, said Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Officer Mike Lopez.
Two other hospital employees were also stabbed, said Asst. Chief Mark Stormes.
None of the injuries were considered life threatening.
"He went ballistic," witness Angel Hernandez told CBS2.
