Defensive back Jack Jones smiled, shook his head and took his place at the end of the line on Wednesday at the Opening.
The 5-foot-10, 157-pound Jones challenged 6-foot-4, 237-pound tight end Isaac Nauta in one-on-one drills and Nauta, who is committed to Florida State, defeated him each time.
"Isaac is a great player," Jones said, smiling. "I can't doubt him anymore. I just have to respect his game."
Jones, a two-way player, has been one of the most talked-about athletes at the Opening this week.
He has more than a dozen scholarship offers, but has yet to name any favorites.
