Los Angeles police continued their search Sunday for the gunmen involved in a series of South L.A. shootings that left one man dead and five other people injured within a span of a few hours.
LAPD Officer Rosario Herrera said Sunday morning that no arrests had been made in Saturday's attacks, which prompted the department to go on a modified tactical alert, bringing more officers and resources to the area.
Three of the four shootings were considered gang-related, Herrera said.
Gunfire first broke out near Hoover and 81st streets about 4 p.m., Herrera said, when a gunman drove up to another car and fired several rounds.
