A parade and rally in Wilmington and a concert in Exposition Park are among the events that promise to “celebrate the spirit of Labor Day” across Los Angeles County on Monday.
Locals who have yet to skip town or head for the beach can take part in the Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor Labor Coalition’s “Labor Solidarity Parade.”
A march was scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at Broad Avenue and E Street in Wilmington and will be followed by a rally held at Banning Park at noon. The rally will include speakers, music and a barbecue, organizers say.
