Ahead of the 2021 World Juniors Championship, Team Canada has been granted an extended selection camp, to be held from Nov. 16 to Dec. 13 in Red Deer, Alberta. Anaheim Ducks defensive prospect Jamie Drysdale has been invited as part of a 46-player roster.
Drydale previously represented Team Canada in the 2019 World Juniors Under-18 tournament, scoring two assists in seven games. Canada ultimately lost to Team USA in the Bronze Medal game. The 18-year-old defender was drafted sixth overall in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft out of the OHL’s Erie Otters.
The full camp roster includes five goaltenders, 15 defenders and 26 forwards.
