Sunday Night, the Ducks scored like David Letterman advised people to vote, early and often. Twenty-Six minutes into the game Anaheim had a 4-0 lead on their way to a 6-3 win. Jakob Silfverberg and Corey Perry scored two goals each. Additionally, Ryan Getzlaf recorded what I like to call a “Visor Trick” with three assists. The win against Chicago extended Anaheim’s recent hot streak. They are 6-1-1 (13 points) in their last eight games. March is a good time for a team to start playing their best hockey of the season.
News and Notes
- Marcus Pettersson’s second-period goal on Sunday was his first goal as a pro in North America.
