As Southern Section football teams begin official practice on Monday, early signs indicate that the 2015 prep season will look a lot like 2014. Blame it on the fact that the top teams keep staying top teams.
The Pac-5 Division championship game last season between Corona Centennial and St. John Bosco could be repeated. The two schools are expected to be ranked No. 1 and 2 in Southern California.
Centennial’s offense will be as explosive as ever, especially with a veteran quarterback, Anthony Catalano, a top receiver in Javon McKinley, a top running back in J.J. Taylor and another strong, powerful offensive line.
