First official 'Deadpool' trailer makes fun of Ryan Reynolds' past superhero work

The "Deadpool" trailer is out, and after many years and many so-so superhero parts for Ryan Reynolds, this finally feels like the right fit.

First, Ryan Reynolds was cast as Wade Wilson (aka Deadpool) in the 2009 "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" -- a movie that would stitch his character's mouth shut, basically muting the comic book antihero and stripping him of the thing he was known best for as "the merc with a mouth." Next Reynolds would suit up as the Green Lantern, but this comic book adaptation was another misfire with fans.

Perhaps Reynolds has finally found his superhero fit, because the latest trailer for "Deadpool" (penned by "Zombieland" writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and directed by Tim Miller) finally seems to capture what is so great about this character and the actor: the sass.
