A shallow magnitude 3.9 earthquake was reported Sunday morning less thabn a mile from The Geysers, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 10:41 a.m. PDT time at a depth of 2.5 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 13 miles from Healdsburg, Calif.; 13 miles from Clearlake, Calif.; and 68 miles from Sacramento.
In the last 10 days, there have been two earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
