The Ducks have signed forward Max Friberg to a two-year contract extension through the 2016-17 season. Per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Friberg, 22 (11/20/92), made his NHL debut with the Ducks last season, going scoreless in one game on Dec. 28, 2014 vs. Vancouver. The 5-11, 200-pound forward spent the rest of 2014-15 with Norfolk of the American Hockey League (AHL), collecting 15-25=40 points with a +2 rating and 46 penalty minutes (PIM) in 58 games. He concluded the season leading the Admirals in scoring and assists, and co-leading in goals.
