The Ducks have recalled left wing Max Friberg from the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League. In addition, the Ducks have assigned right wing Tim Jackman to San Diego.
Friberg, 22 (11/20/92), made his NHL debut on Dec. 28, 2014 vs. Vancouver, going scoreless in 8:47 time-on-ice (TOI) with two hits. Beginning the 2015-16 season with San Diego, Friberg collected 3-2=5 points with a +2 rating in seven games. At the time of his recall, Friberg ranked tied for third among team leaders in scoring and plus/minus, tied for second in goals and first in shorthanded goals (1).
