The Ducks have recalled defenseman Korbinian Holzer from the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Holzer, 27 (2/16/88), has earned one assist with an even plus/minus rating and two penalty minutes (PIM) in seven games with the Ducks this season. The 6-3, 215-pound defenseman recorded his first point as a Duck (assist) in a 4-2 victory over Nashville on Nov. 1 at Honda Center. Acquired from Toronto in exchange for Eric Brewer and a fifth-round selection in the 2016 NHL Draft on Mar. 2, 2015, Holzer was scoreless in three games with the Gulls this season.
