The Ducks have recalled left wing Max Friberg from the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Friberg, 23 (11/20/92), was scoreless with two penalty minutes (PIM) in five games with the Ducks earlier this season. Originally recalled from San Diego on Nov. 3, Friberg made his Anaheim season debut on Nov. 4 in a 3-2 shootout victory over the Florida Panthers at Honda Center. Selected by Anaheim in the fifth round (143rd overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft Friberg has gone scoreless with two PIM in six career NHL games with the Ducks.
